On this edition of Ozarks, the Bentonville High School Chamber Choir prepares for their final madrigal dinner and we’ll hear a preview from the Firmin Garner Performance Studio. Arkansas has more than 160 freshwater lakes, most of them artificial, like Lake Sequoyah in southeast Fayetteville. But the 50-year old reservoir is shrinking due to excess upstream sedimentation. So the city has started to clean it out using innovative technology.
This week, the city of Fayetteville and the University of Arkansas are hosting a Sustainable Communities Summit. Starting tomorrow, the summit will feature information about alternative fuels and trails, among other things. We speak with the event's organizers.
