Apple Seeds Inc. is calling for community support to launch an educational farm on two and half acres of of College Avenue in Fayetteville to teach teachers how to start school gardens.
Some kids may like athletics or marching band, but one effort in Fayetteville aims to nurture the next generation of nerds in a positive atmosphere.Education accountability and ongoing renovations were the recursive topics over the past week.

Plus Michael Tilley from The City Wire on rising home sales in the region and the band A Good Fight sits inside the Firmin Garner Performance Studio to perform and give their last radio interview before they split up.Formed in 2007, the Fayetteville band A Good Fight quickly gained national recognition. But after a few iterations and with one of its members soon leaving the area, the band is holding a farewell concert this evening at George's Majestic Lounge.
A concert tonight in Fayetteville marks the 100th anniversary of Benjamin Britten.
